    Cream paisley teardrops, scalloped and finely outlined, in even rows across a warm clay-rose ground. It is a pink room without being a pink-and-white room: the clay in the background does the work that a pastel cannot, keeping it warm and grown-up rather than sugary. Paisley is also one of the few motifs that survives the move out of the nursery, which makes this a set you buy once.
