Description
Watercolour hot air balloons in tan, grey and soft gold, each one patterned differently, drifting between small clouds, birds and scattered stars across a warm cream ground, printed edge to edge on a low-pile nursery rug.
The rug is where the whole first year actually happens: tummy time, first rolls, the pile of soft toys that never quite gets put away. Every balloon here is drawn differently, which gives a crawling baby something new to find each time they cross the floor.

Choosing a size: aim for a rug that extends at least 18" beyond the crib on the open sides. In small nurseries a 4 to 5 foot rug is usually enough; larger rooms suit 5' × 7' or more.
