Description

The crib sheet is the largest patterned surface in a nursery and the first thing you see from the doorway. A dark sheet is an unusual choice and a practical one: navy is the most forgiving colour in a crib, and pale pastels on a dark ground hold their contrast under a night light in a way pale-on-pale never does.

A crib sheet should fit the mattress tightly, with no slack or bunching. Check the fit each time you make the crib up, and replace the sheet if the elastic loosens.

Check your mattress before ordering. Sheet fit is a safety matter, not just a neatness one — a loose or oversized fitted sheet is a suffocation risk.
