Description
Full banded rainbows in aubergine, mint, coral and cream, each finished with a small posy of coral flowers at both ends, with white daisies scattered between, on a lilac ground and printed edge to edge on a low-pile nursery rug.
The rug is where the whole first year actually happens: tummy time, first rolls, the pile of soft toys that never quite gets put away. This is the most detailed rainbow print we make — the bands carry stitched marks, dots and speckles that only resolve when you are close to them, which is where a baby spends most of the first year.

Choosing a size: aim for a rug that extends at least 18" beyond the crib on the open sides. In small nurseries a 4 to 5 foot rug is usually enough; larger rooms suit 5' × 7' or more.
