Description

Watercolour giraffes, zebras and elephants across cream, printed edge to edge on a rectangular nursery area rug so the pattern reaches every corner rather than stopping at a border.

The rug is the largest single surface you choose for a nursery, which makes it the piece that sets the palette everything else has to live with. A rectangular rug covers more floor than a round one and works better when you want a clearly defined play area, or when the room has a full furniture arrangement to sit around.

Comfortable underfoot and durable enough for daily floor play.

Non-slip backing

Grips the floor so it stays put once a baby starts crawling and pulling up. On very smooth floors, a separate rug pad adds extra hold.

Choosing a size: aim for a rug that extends at least 18" beyond the crib on the open sides. In small nurseries a 4 to 5 foot rug is usually enough; larger rooms suit 5' × 7' or more.
