Hooded towels work from newborn through toddler. Younger babies are wrapped fully; older ones tend to wear the hood and walk off in it.

How big are they?

Dimensions are on each product page. Ours are sized to wrap a baby completely rather than to sit on top of them, which is the difference between a towel that works and one that does not.

How do I wash a hooded towel?

Machine wash cold and tumble dry low. Wash before first use — towels absorb noticeably better after the first cycle.

Why not use a normal towel?

You can, but the hood is genuinely useful. Heat is lost fastest from a wet head, and a hooded towel keeps a baby warm during the few minutes between bath and dressing.

Will it match the nursery?
