Description
Sleeping crescent moons in ochre, soft grey and dusty blue clouds, small muted rainbows and scattered stars across a clean white ground, printed edge to edge on a low-pile nursery rug.
The rug is where the whole first year actually happens: tummy time, first rolls, the pile of soft toys that never quite gets put away. A print with this much small detail in it also earns its keep later, once a crawling baby is close enough to the floor to start finding things in it.

Choosing a size: aim for a rug that extends at least 18" beyond the crib on the open sides. In small nurseries a 4 to 5 foot rug is usually enough; larger rooms suit 5' × 7' or more.
