The rug is where the whole first year actually happens: tummy time, first rolls, the pile of soft toys that never quite gets put away. This is the most forgiving rug we sell — a deep ground hides the daily traffic of a baby's floor in a way that cream and white simply do not.

Soft chenille polyester

Comfortable underfoot and durable enough for daily floor play.

Non-slip backing

Grips the floor so it stays put once a baby starts crawling and pulling up. On very smooth floors, a separate rug pad adds extra hold.

The single most useful feature a rug in a baby room can have.

Choosing a size: aim for a rug that extends at least 18" beyond the crib on the open sides. In small nurseries a 48" to 60" rug is usually enough; larger rooms suit 72" × 48" or more.

Ordering for a due date or shower? Order earlier than you think you need to. Made-to-order timelines are reliable but not instant, and carrier delays are outside our control.

Returns. Every piece is printed to order. Unused, unwashed items can be exchanged within 30 days. If something arrives faulty or misprinted, we replace it or refund you.
