Description
A soft pink trellis, hand-painted rather than ruled, running edge to edge across a rectangular nursery area rug. The brushed diamond lattice keeps the pattern gentle where a crisp geometric would feel sharp in a baby room.
The rug is the largest single surface you choose for a nursery, which makes it the piece that sets the palette everything else has to live with. A rectangular rug covers more floor than a round one and works better when you want a clearly defined play area — which, for the first two years, is where nearly everything happens.
