    Small patterned rainbows in pink, lilac, blue and coral, scattered between stars, hearts, tiny balloons and soft clouds on a white ground. No two rainbows here are drawn the same way — striped, dotted, outlined — which gives the print far more to find in it than a repeating arch. It is the most playful set we make, and the white ground keeps all that colour light rather than loud.

    Where to start if you don't want everything: the crib sheet and the changing pad cover carry this print best, because it rewards being looked at closely. The rugs are on a white ground, so plan them for a reading corner rather than the middle of the floor.
