    The set includes: fitted crib sheet, changing pad cover, minky baby blanket, hooded baby towel, round nursery rug, rectangular area rug and a faux suede decorative pillow.

    Full banded rainbows in aubergine, mint, coral and cream, each finished with a small posy of coral flowers at both ends, with white daisies scattered between, on a lilac ground. This is the most worked of our rainbow prints: every band carries stitched marks, dots and speckles, so it holds up to being looked at closely in a way a flat arch does not.

    Choosing between our three lilac sets: Lilac Meadow Arches is graphic and well spaced in plum and mustard. Petal Arches is dense and soft in blush and sage. This one sits between them — full-size rainbows with mint and coral, the brightest of the three.

    Where to start if you don't want everything: the crib sheet and a rug do most of the visual work in a baby room. Add the blanket and pillow to soften it, and the hooded towel if you want bath time to match too.
