    The set includes: fitted crib sheet, changing pad cover, minky baby blanket, hooded baby towel, round nursery rug, rectangular area rug and a faux suede decorative pillow.

    Soft pink and cream ticking stripes with small roses and buds scattered across them, drawn in the manner of an old wallpaper. It is the only one of our three rose sets built on a structure rather than a scatter — the stripe carries the room and the flowers sit on top of it, which is what keeps a pink floral from tipping into fussy.

    Our three rose sets, briefly: Heirloom Roses is a full allover chintz. Rose Bouquet is lighter, with the flowers grouped in posies. This one is striped, and the most structured of the three.

    Where to start if you don't want everything: the pillow, because a ticking stripe on a square is the oldest cushion there is and moves onto a bed or window seat later without looking out of place. Then the area rug — stripes running the length of a rectangle make a small room read longer.
