Bedding is where a nursery either looks considered or looks assembled. The crib sheet is the largest patterned surface in the room and the first thing you see from the doorway; the changing pad cover sits at eye level; the blanket goes everywhere. When all three come from one design they read as a room. When they come from three brands they read as three purchases.

What to buy: two crib sheets and two changing pad covers is the realistic minimum — one on, one in the wash. One blanket per baby is plenty to start.

All pieces are printed edge to edge, machine washable and made to order.
