Hand-drawn anchors on soft teal, printed on a plush minky baby blanket. The motif is small and scattered rather than bold, so it reads as texture across the pile instead of competing with it.

This is the piece that leaves the nursery. It goes in the pram, over the car seat, onto the floor for tummy time, and eventually becomes the blanket that gets asked for by name. Minky is the reason: it drapes and photographs like something considerably more expensive than a printed blanket has any right to.
